The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is all about the rights of individuals. To process information, or data, about you, any business regardless of size must have a lawful basis to do so. This lawful basis and the rights that you have, relates to information about you, that a business may collect and use.
These rights are as set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which will become enforceable from 25 May 2018, it is already law so there is no escaping. The GDPR is designed to protect and support the personal data rights for everyone in the UK and any organisation dealing with personal data will need to comply.
