Dionne Walton, Dionne is the Grandmentors Project Officer for Volunteering Matters Ipswich with a background in Post 16 education and management. Grandmentors Ipswich, offers individuals aged 50+ the opportunity to give back to the community and encourage vulnerable young people to develop essential skills of self-reliance.
Volunteering Matters is a national charity working on bespoke local projects that enable anyone to participate in their local community through volunteering and social action. We develop and deliver high impact volunteer-led solutions across the UK in response to some of the most difficult challenges facing individuals and their communities today. The business sector can support these opportunities and Volunteering Matters can show you the many ways that individuals, companies and groups can support their own communities through creative and innovative means.
